The Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to take ownership of statutory and regulatory reporting across the business. This is a critical position where you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all reporting processes, while driving improvements in systems and controls. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide technical expertise and insight to support strategic decisionâmaking in a complex, highâvolume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting â Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, group consolidations, and regulatory submissions in line with relevant standards.
- Compliance & Governance â Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Expertise â Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including IFRS and UK GAAP, and manage audit processes.
- Process Improvement â Identify and implement enhancements to reporting systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Stakeholder Engagement â Partner with senior finance leaders and operational teams to deliver clear, accurate reporting and analysis.
- Team Development â Support and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical knowledge
- Proven experience in financial reporting within FMCG or a similar fastâpaced sector
- Expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP, with experience managing audits and statutory accounts
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills, with attention to detail
