An experienced Data Analyst is required to support operational and leadership teams by turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. This is a handsāon role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and seeing the direct impact of their work across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse operational, preparation and serviceācentre data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
- Process-map the endātoāend operational journey, highlighting inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
- Build, maintain and improve interactive dashboards and reports to support real-time decision making.
- Work closely with leadership and operational teams to deliver actionable insights that drive performance and profitability.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across multiple systems.
- Identify gaps in current systems and data usage, supporting business cases for improvement.
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within retail or manufacturing.
- Advanced Power BI experience (2+ years essential).
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to interrogate full databases.
- Strong Excel capability.
- Experience analysing large, complex datasets.
- Confident data visualisation skills.
- An inquisitive, analytical mindset with strong problemāsolving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical insight for nonātechnical stakeholders.
- Strong organisation and timeāmanagement skills.
- Familiarity with databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Python experience.
- Exposure to project management or change initiatives.
