We are delighted to be working with a well-respected, multi-site firm of accountants in Kent who are opening a new branch and looking to appoint a Junior Client Manager as part of their growth plans. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior-level professional who is looking for the next step in their career, with a clear pathway into managing the office and developing their own portfolio of clients and fees.
The Role: Initially joining at Senior level, you will play a key role in the delivery of accounting and tax services while building strong client relationships. As the branch grows, the role will naturally evolve into a more managerial position with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office and ownership of your own client portfolio.
- Accounts production and review for a varied client base
- Tax compliance across personal and business tax
- Overseeing and supporting the bookkeeping function
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and support
- Working closely with senior management to help develop the new branch
About You:
- AAT qualified (or equivalent by experience)
- In excess of 3 years' experience in accounts and tax within a practice environment
- Strong technical ability with a good all-round practice background
- Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction and relationship building
- Ambitious, with a desire to progress into a managerial and leadership role
