We are recruiting on behalf of a small but ambitious and fast-growing accountancy practice based in West Malling. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who wants real responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and long-term career progression within a supportive and close-knit environment.
This role is ideally suited to someone with around two years’ experience in practice, with a strong focus on statutory accounts production and bookkeeping. You will work closely with senior members of the firm, gaining hands-on exposure to a broad portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Unlike larger firms where roles can feel siloed, this practice offers genuine variety and the chance to develop into a well-rounded accountant.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting software
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Supporting client queries and building strong working relationships
- Assisting with ad hoc advisory and compliance work as the practice grows
- Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Approximately two years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong experience in statutory accounts production and bookkeeping
- Comfortable working with multiple clients and deadlines
