About You
We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant, or an experienced Management Accountant with a strong practical grounding in finance. You will be comfortable working in a small business environment, where a hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in transactional activities are essential. You will also have the confidence to work independently, manage priorities and provide support and guidance to a junior colleague. Experience of payroll processing is important, alongside a good understanding of wider transactional finance. Experience of Sage Line 50 would be a distinct advantage. Due to the location of the business, applicants will need to be based locally and have access to their own car. The successful candidate will also need to be available at short notice, as this is an interim appointment with an immediate requirement.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business during an exciting period of development. The role offers genuine variety and responsibility, with the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the finance function from day one. If you are an experienced, hands-on Management Accountant who enjoys working in a smaller business environment, is confident with transactional finance and payroll, and is available for an interim assignment, we would be very interested in hearing from you.
