Large commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit a Real Estate Legal Director or Partner . The Real Estate transactional team handles some of the UK’s largest and most high-profile deals acting for developers, investors, funders, and major occupiers across a number of sectors. Clients include Institutional Investors, developers in PBSA (purpose-built student accommodation), Hospitality and Logistics companies, and corporate occupiers in the retail, office, and leisure sectors.
As a Real Estate Director/Partner, you will oversee and manage all aspects of real estate transactions within the firm. You will be responsible for leading a team of Lawyers, advising clients on a broad range of property transactions, and ensuring that all transactions are executed efficiently and in compliance with UK law. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development projects, and financing arrangements.
- Involvement in networking and business development activities of the team.
- Developing marketing strategies and contributing to the growth and expansion of the firm’s real estate practice.
All applicants will be England & Wales qualified with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law, including commercial and residential property transactions, landlord and tenant law, and property financing. Strong client management skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships are also important.
