Commercial law firm in Newcastle-upon-Tyne seeks to recruit an Employment lawyer of 0 to 4 years’ PQE. The team predominantly represents/advises companies from a diverse range of sectors and covers a broad range of employment matters including:

  • Helping businesses with strategic planning/re-organisations
  • Employment tribunal and high court advice
  • TUPE/transactional support
  • Executive severance
  • Equality and diversity
  • Other general HR related matters

The team also has a growing corporate immigration practice and the successful candidate would have the option to undertake some immigration work and help develop that area further, if this is an area which interests them.

Newly-qualified candidates will have undertaken a seat in Employment law and qualified candidates should ideally have experience of one or more of the following areas:

  • Advising employer clients on day-to-day employment issues
  • Corporate support work
  • Assisting the team with strategic planning and management of re-organisations and other employment projects
  • Managing and conducting employment tribunal claims
