The Residential Property team in London is looking to recruit a Residential Property/Private Real Estate lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. The team provides high quality advice across the residential, leasehold enfranchisement and rural property spheres. It works closely, where appropriate, with other specialists in the Firm, including in particular Private Client, Family and Commercial Real Estate lawyers to achieve that aim.
Recruitment for this role is with a view to long term growth/expansion of this busy and established team and presents a real opportunity for career progression. The focus of this role will be to assist with a varied caseload of residential property matters acting for HNW individuals, their companies, family offices and trusts. The role will be based in the London office and will cover all manner of Residential Property matters with particular focus on:
- High value freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Remortgages
Candidates will have solid residential property sale and acquisition experience including familiarity with new build and off plan transactions, ideally with a strong grounding in leasehold enfranchisement and landlord and tenant matters. You will also have demonstrable technical expertise, proficiency in drafting and research skills, as well as being comfortable in running transactions effectively with experience of acting for domestic and international high net worth clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also important.
