A commercial law firm in Kent is looking to recruit a Commercial Property (Development) Senior Associate of 5 or more years’ PQE. This team is well regarded for its development-related work and advises on complex commercial and residential development projects, including large-scale mixed-use schemes and regeneration initiatives.
The team is seeking a capable and motivated development lawyer to handle high-profile residential and commercial development matters, working closely with:
- developers (specifically national housebuilders, land promoters, and registered providers)
- landowners
- institutional investors
- landed estates
You will manage your own caseload and be supported by other lawyers in the firm from other disciplines such as planning, construction, corporate, and property finance in order to offer a truly holistic client service. You will provide advice on all aspects of the development lifecycle, including options, promotion agreements, land sales, acquisitions, site assembly, and structuring joint ventures. Previous experience of running your own case files is essential.
You will also possess strong communication, negotiation, and case management skills and be a key participant in the marketing and business development initiatives of the Property department.
