Well-regarded law firm in Carlisle is seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Family lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE to join a close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor to take a leading role in the Family department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress within the department/firm. If you’re enthusiastic about honing your skills and tackling fresh opportunities, this role could be an ideal match for you.
Being part of the Law Society Family Law Accreditation scheme would be an advantage as would being an accredited Specialist member of Resolution, ideally with a specialism in complex financial remedies and pensions. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload covering all aspects of Family Law, specifically divorce, financial and high net worth matters and specific responsibilities will include:
- drafting legal documents
- attending court hearings
- negotiating settlements and agreements for clients
- building and maintaining positive professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Applicants will either be England & Wales qualified solicitors or CILEX qualified/accredited and any prior experience with managing and mentoring a team would be advantageous. You will also have a demonstrable track record of meeting chargeable and billing targets, as well as possessing business acumen and a proactive approach to networking and business development is also required.
