Large commercial law firm in the City is looking to recruit a Corporate Tax lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Tax lawyer to join a collegiate and growing team offering high quality Tax work across a broad range of practice areas, with excellent career development and responsibility.
They are seeking candidates who are experienced in all forms of Corporate Tax with a particular emphasis on:
- Capital deployment by real estate and infrastructure Funds
- Joint venture/platform negotiating and structuring (including in the real estate and infrastructure sectors)
Experience of, and familiarity with, Fund formation and Fund structuring mandates would be beneficial. It is assumed that the relevant candidate would have solid experience in broader M&A transactions and the deal documentation underpinning such transactions.
The successful candidate will advise corporate and commercial clients on tax matters in a domestic and international context, advising clients in some or all of the following sectors: real estate, infrastructure, private equity, venture, credit, fund-of-funds (including secondaries).
Applicants will have excellent technical and analytical skills across legal drafting, legislative and case law interpretation and the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic advice. You will have a desire to build on client relationships and develop your own client network, as well as having the ability to manage projects and transactions in a pro-active and organised manner.
