Our client, a commercial law firm in Guernsey, is seeking to recruit a Corporate and Commercial Associate with 4 or more years’ of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join this thriving, directories-listed Corporate team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to relocate to the Channel Islands and advance their career within a well-regarded offshore law firm.
You will manage a sophisticated workload, advising an established client base that includes leading Guernsey fiduciaries, corporate service providers, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). Key responsibilities include:
- Advise on complex cross-border corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, financing documents, and security agreements
- Provide structuring and regulatory advice on Guernsey company law, economic substance requirements, and beneficial ownership regulations
- Act as a primary point of contact for established Guernsey-based fiduciary and corporate service provider clients
- Deliver tailored legal solutions to high-net-worth individuals regarding asset structuring, private corporate vehicles, and family offices
- Maintain and deepen existing institutional client relationships through high-quality, responsive service delivery
- Contribute proactively to the firm’s local and international marketing and business development initiatives
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the corporate and commercial practice group
Candidates will have strong experience of dealing with Corporate matters and you will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England.
