Commercial law firm in York is looking to recruit two Commercial Property lawyers (one of 0 to 2 and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE). The team has an impressive portfolio of clients and the work they undertake includes:
- renewable energy projects
- large developments
- higher value or complex commercial property matters
These roles offer the successful candidates the opportunity to undertake a diverse and interesting caseload of both commercial property and agricultural property matters. You will be part of a large real‑estate team which is well‑regarded for the work it does in general commercial property law, as well as having specialist expertise in agricultural property law and renewable energy matters.
Responsibilities
- dealing with commercial freehold sales and purchases, finance and remortgage work and ancillary commercial property matters such as easements or telecommunications leases
- dealing with the acquisition and sale of farms and farmland and ancillary property‑based work for agricultural clients
- commercial and agricultural landlord and tenant work
- building client and industry relationships and assisting with business development
Qualifications
- effective communication skills, both oral and written
- demonstrate a commitment to business development and client relationship management
- have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
