Law firm in Leeds, which is highly regarded for the work it does in Property law is looking to recruit a Commercial Property lawyer of 2 or more years’ PQE. You will join a leading team of lawyers who specialise in providing advice to companies, trusts and private individuals both in connection with mainstream commercial property work and in specialist sector teams including rural and estates, charities and social enterprises, education, faith, and transport. The successful candidate will be comfortable largely running their own caseload (with an appropriate level of Partner supervision, or not, depending on your PQE) with the expectation that the individual would deal with commercial property transactions across the department, although a candidate who wanted to focus on one or more of the firm’s niche areas could be accommodated. You will be required to handle a wide range of property work, including the following: • Sales and purchases • Non-contentious landlord and tenant • Secured borrowing and lending • Development sites including ancillary documents such as easements, options, and pre-emption arrangements etc. • Regular property work including title queries and registration work.Applicants will currently specialise in Property law.
