Directories-listed team in London is looking to recruit two Commercial IT/Technology lawyers – one with 0 to 1 year of PQE and the other with 3 or more years of PQE. The team’s clients include UK and international multinationals, household names, fast-growing small and medium-sized businesses, and entrepreneurs.
Role Overview
The Commercial team provides legal advice on commercial agreements and relationships central to clients’ trading activities and strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, such as outsourcing, commercial contracts, technology contracts, FinTech & payments, telecoms, many with an international element.
- Agency agreements and advice to agents and principals, subject to the Commercial Agents Regulations.
- Distributorship agreements.
- Drafting and advising on online platforms, website terms and conditions for static or transactional websites, social media sites, or mobile apps.
- Non-contentious intellectual property: licensing, franchising, ownership, and protection of IP in commercial agreements.
Candidate Requirements
If already qualified, you will be an IT/Tech specialist or have a Commercial role involving IT/Technology matters. Newly qualified candidates should have completed a seat in general Commercial law, non-contentious IT/Tech, or non-contentious Intellectual Property.
