Highly-regarded Claimant PI team in London is looking to recruit two Claimant Catastrophic Injury lawyers – one of 2 to 4 years’ PQE and the other of 5 or more years’ PQE. The Serious Injury Team focuses on representing Claimants with injuries of the utmost severity including brain damage, spinal injury, amputation, fatal cases, and other serious injuries. Most of the claims have a value of several million pounds, and this is an exceptionally high-performing, hard-working, and passionate team.
The team focuses on quality, and each case is dealt with expertly and with great care to ensure the best possible award is achieved for the Claimant. The focus for each lawyer who joins the team is to build his or her own reputation and knowledge. From the start, both successful candidates will be working on high-value cases and will be expected to take on significant responsibility, allowing you to build your own caseload. The work is often fast-paced and requires genuine commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage own files and support the partners
- Prepare thorough documentation required in the preparation of cases to trial
- Liaise with counsel/experts
- Liaise with clients and handle matters with the appropriate sensitivity
Applicants must have experience in UK claimant serious injury work and rehabilitation and have an ability to build relationships with the client, family, witnesses, counsel, and experts. Furthermore, you must be an enthusiastic team player with commitment to quality and client care, with good case management skills.
