Well-regarded Charities department at this law firm in Cambridge is seeking to recruit a Charities lawyer of 4 or more years’ PQE. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to further their career, build strong client relationships and help to grow this Charity law practice.
Duties will include:
- Creating and registering charitable entities
- Advising charity trustees on their role, duties and powers
- Advising on charity mergers and transfer of assets
- Preparing policies and other charity documentation
- Closing and de-registering charities
- Working with the firm’s property and employment teams on charity matters
- Liaising with the Charity Commission
- Advising on charity regulatory issues
You will work with other team members to provide an excellent client service, as well as engaging in business development and networking activities and supervising and training the more junior members of the team.
