Well-regarded commercial law firm in Cambridge is seeking to recruit an Agricultural Property (inc. Comm Prop matters) lawyer of 0 to 2 years’ PQE. The team handles a wide range of work for a diverse client base including client base including: • prestigious landed estates • universities • colleges • corporate and institutional landowners • charitable organisations • investment funds • national farming businesses • private investors The successful candidates can expect to have direct client contact, as well as undertaking a stimulating and varied caseload. You will assist on a broad range of complex, high-profile and high-value matters, including: • investment sales and purchases, as well as development projects for corporate and institutional landowners, landed estates and charitable organisations; • sale and purchase of agricultural land, farms and estates; • acquisition and disposal of equine properties; • agricultural and business tenancies; • farming partnerships; • renewable energy projects (solar, wind and BESS) for landowners; • mineral leases; • refinancing transactions for landowners and rural businesses. These roles will enable the successful candidates to: • work on complex, high-profile and high-value matters; • develop specialist expertise within a market-leading Agribusiness team; • build strong client relationships and gain early responsibility; • be part of a collaborative and supportive practice with national reach.
