Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor foundry equipment, including furnaces, molds, and finishing centers.
- Prepare molds and cores for casting according to specifications.
- Pour molten metal into molds and ensure proper cooling processes.
- Perform quality checks on cast components for defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: Previous experience in foundry operations or manufacturing (preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a hot/cold and noisy environment.
