Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations on airside construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating with airport authorities to maintain smooth operations within a secure environment.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations on airside construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating with airport authorities to maintain smooth operations within a secure environment.
Responsibilities
Site Supervision
- Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labour resources.
- Monitor daily progress and report issues to the Project Manager.
Airside Operations
- Ensure full compliance with airport authority rules, regulations, and security protocols.
- Coordinate airside vehicle movements and supervise access/escort procedures.
- Maintain site integrity in a high-security environment.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and risk assessments specific to airside work.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections.
- Promptly report incidents and near-misses and follow up with corrective actions.
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with project management, client representatives, and airport operations personnel.
- Maintain site records, permits, and logs, including daily reports and delivery tracking.
- Support logistics team with planning of materials and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction site, preferably on airside or infrastructure projects
- Thorough understanding of airside safety, access control, and construction compliance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in site reporting and basic MS Office tools
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple site tasks simultaneously
- Relevant trade background or diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- Valid airside pass (or ability to obtain)
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Manual Handling, First Aid, and Fire Warden certifications preferred.
Desirable
- Previous experience supervising projects in live airport environments
- Familiarity with airport authority processes and safety permit systems
- Knowledge of Primavera, Asta, or site management software
- Valid airside pass
Due to the project location all successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check, gain airside passes & driving permit alongside additional pre-employment checks.
