We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and control of logistics for our airside construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of materials, efficient site traffic management, and strict compliance with all airport safety and security protocols. Responsibilities: Airside Logistics Coordination:
- Manage all logistics operations within landside and airside boundaries, ensuring full compliance with airport authority regulations. Schedule, monitor, and control the movement of vehicles, materials, and personnel in restricted areas. Ensure timely and secure delivery of materials and equipment to work zones. Stakeholder & Permit Management: Liaise with airport operations, security teams, and other stakeholders for permit applications, escort requirements, and vehicle approvals. Manage airside pass applications for staff and contractors. Site Traffic & Material Flow: Develop and implement traffic
- Oversee storage, handling, and distribution of materials in line with project programme. Health, Safety & Security: Enforce strict adherence to airside safety procedures, PPE requirements, and emergency protocols. Conduct toolbox talks and logistics briefings. Planning & Reporting: Contribute to short- and long-term logistics planning aligned with the master programme. Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and compliance documentation. Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager or senior leadership.
Experience in logistics management, ideally within the construction or aviation sector Proven knowledge of airside operations, airport regulations, and security procedures Valid airside driving permit (or eligibility to obtain) Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project) and logistics software Demonstrated ability to work in high-security, time-critical environments CSCS or equivalent construction site safety qualification Full clean driving licence
