Farrans Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with invoicing, and processing payments. Strong communication skills and proficiency in accounting software are essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a leading construction company.
Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Processing Goods Received Notes through computerised accounting system, matching to purchase order and invoice
- Resolution of missing GRNs
- Resolution of order queries with buyers and site staff
- Coding of invoices
- Ensuring adherence to control procedures
- Other general office duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience processing invoices
- Grade C or equivalent in GCSE English and Maths
- High level of proficiency with the suite of MS Office packages
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Strong work ethic
- Self-Motivated and willing to take responsibility
- Able to work collaboratively in a multi-team environment
- Strong Communication Skills (Written & verbal)
