We are currently seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join the product production team. This role is key to managing customer orders, coordinating offshore production, and ensuring timely delivery of finished goods.
As their Garment Production Coordinator, you will manage the manufacturing process from development to finished goods, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Production Scheduling: Creating and maintaining detailed production timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Factory Liaison: Acting as the main point of contact for manufacturers, particularly in offshore locations like China and Vietnam.
- Order Management: Processing customer orders and ensuring samples are produced and approved accurately.
- Logistics Coordination: Organising shipments and managing courier services for national and international deliveries.
- Inventory Tracking: Managing raw material inventory, including fabric samples and finished goods in the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Ensuring production meets quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate customer orders and samples in an accurate and timely manner.
- Enter all orders into internal tracking spreadsheets with precision and attention to detail.
- Liaise with overseas manufacturers (China, India, Portugal, Turkey, and Vietnam) to coordinate production timelines and requirements.
- Maintain an organised inventory of finished customer orders in the warehouse.
- Generate and distribute monthly reports to customers detailing stock availability, incoming production, and sampling updates.
- Work closely with sales teams to support their needs, including special orders and new sampling requests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding garment or fabric construction, fabrics, and production processes.
- Systems Literacy: Proficiency in Excel and experience with production systems.
