Logistics and Shipping Planner Bradford £30,000 08.00 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday - Friday 1530 finish My client a UK leading manufacturing specialist and is looking to find an experienced Transport/Logistics Administrator that has an interest in working within a busy team, liaising with departments & existing customers, is confident with taking customer calls, assisting with all transport & shipping enquiries for customer installations across the UK.
Under the direction of the Delivery and Installation managers, administrate all delivery and installation activities on a day to day basis.
These activities include - Invoicing of all deliveries daily; maintaining databases and trackers with accurate and live information; querying invoices against set criteria; resolving and facilitating customer concerns; generating / sending job sheets to fit teams / hauliers; booking delivery and installations with customers, capturing site risks and general administrative duties.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are quality conscious, both in respect of your own work and others around you, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with all customers internal or external, and ensuring that queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all delivery dates and load references are reflected accurately within the company systems.
- Invoice all outbound deliveries on the day the product is loaded for despatch.
- Maintain records of any invoice / delivery date variances actual vs planned and the reasons why.
- Capture all costs and record these accurately, highlighting variances to budget to the management team.
- Contact customers directly to confirm booking arrangements and site access restrictions.
- Create and distribute job sheets to Installers.
- Receive, coordinate and schedule all customer concerns.
- Maintain all databases associated with customer concerns, including costs.
I really need you to be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure, which will enable you to be a key support to this busy installations administration team.
I am open to consider people from a busy office support or any customer support administrative background if you are confident on the phone, you can manage delivery timescales for customers, provide updates and update complex internal systems accurately.
