This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, capable and motivated individual to work with a niche digital print production team as this successful retail business continues to grow. The company’s clients are typically large retail brands. They creatively produce a range of retailed products including blinds, interior products, clothing and a real diverse range of print accessories. They work to very tight deadlines and often short lead times!
Working as part of the workshop team, you will use your production planning experience. You will be trusted to ensure that these products meet set requirements and specifications and be responsible for any defects, colour retouching, fixing and colour management. The role involves effective communication with the production departments within the business, so you need to be open and supportive as key areas will include:
- Planning the coordination of all of the printed products with the print teams
- Managing all documentation for the production process
- Communicating with designer and sample departments
A great part of the role will be communicating with the designer and sample departments, so it’s a great opportunity to really feel part of this superb team and business.
- Calibrate and maintain printing production schedules with the teams for optimum efficiency
- Engage with customers and internal teams in order to process all external and internal sales orders
- Liaise with customer services to obtain orders and understand customer requirements and deadlines
- Maintain efficient stock levels through continual review of base materials including inks and fabrics required for forward orders
- Use SAP to process purchase orders and to push production orders through the system
- Prioritise workload to ensure all KPI’s are met
- Weekly catch up with Warehouse & Production Manager to discuss workloads and priorities for the week
- Liaise with Warehouse & Production team for dispatch
