About The Company
Farol Ltd is an extremely successful family owned business. Established in 1976 and now employing 280 people across our 7 depots, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands. We also have a Tyres division, which is where these vacancies sit.
About The Roles
As one of our professional Mobile Tyre Fitters, your role will be to fit and maintain agricultural and construction machinery tyres, with a small degree of commercial and car tyre maintenance/fitting as well. Your work will be 95% field-based, fitting tyres at our customers' premises. However, you will need to visit the Thame/Hinckley daily to collect equipment needed for you to carry out your work out on site. This is a customer facing role so strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential. Also, due to the nature of the role, you need to be capable of working with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.
About You
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to start a long-term career with a highly successful and ever-growing family owned business – the largest John Deere dealerships in the UK. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous tyre fitting experience of some kind, or someone used to working with agricultural/construction machinery. However, we are also willing to take on someone without experience provided they can demonstrate the right aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
About The Package
We can offer you a highly competitive basic starting salary of £32,400-£34,000, annual bonus, overtime, out of hours retainer and callout payments, monthly incentive scheme, half day Fridays every second week. We will also provide you with company uniform and PPE, company vehicle, tooling and mobile phone. You will also be able to join our company pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday each year. Hours of work are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday and every second Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Farol is one of the leading John Deere dealers in the UK with people at the heart of its strategy. We know that our people are the key to our success and we make sure we appreciate and reward everyone's contribution. Not only do we recognise expertise, skills and professionalism, we value highly the very things that make them unique: their passion, their dedication, their approachability and the fact that going the all-important extra mile is second nature.
