We also have a Tyres division, which is where this vacancy sits.

As one of our professional Mobile Tyre Fitters, your role will be to fit and maintain agricultural and construction machinery tyres, with a small degree of commercial and car tyre maintenance/fitting as well. 95% of your work will be field-based (i.e. out on our customer’s premises) with a small amount of work carried out in the Tyre bay at our Midhurst depot. However, you will need to visit the Midhurst depot daily to collect equipment needed for you to carry out your work out on site.

Geographically, you will cover a large area from south of the M25/east of the M3 down to the south coast and across to the A26/Tunbridge Wells. Ideally, you will be located centrally within this area to allow an easy commute to Midhurst whilst also being able to reach all our customers in these areas (Guildford to Chichester, Winchester to Crawley and beyond).

This is a customer facing role so strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential. Also, due to the nature of the role, you need to be capable of working with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

About You

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to start a long-term career with a highly successful and ever-growing family owned business – and one of the largest John Deere dealerships in the UK. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous tyre fitting experience of some kind, or someone used to working with agricultural/construction machinery. However, we are also willing to take on someone without experience provided they can demonstrate the right aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

About The Package

We can offer you a highly competitive basic starting salary of £32,400-£34,000, annual bonus, overtime, out of hours retainer and callout payments, monthly incentive scheme, half day Fridays every second week. We will also provide you with company uniform and PPE, company vehicle, tooling and mobile phone. You will also be able to join our company pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday each year.

Hours of work are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday and every second Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm. A full UK driving licence is essential.
