Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Revit Technician -Structural in one of the below posting locations:
- Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center)
- Normal, IL
- Peoria, IL
- Phoenix, AZ
- St. Louis, MO
Job Activities:
- Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types.
- Prepare Structural construction documents including plans, elevations, details, and schedules.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines.
- Perform redline drafting.
- Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations.
- Assist with onboarding new employees in Revit training.
- Participate on BIM team coordinating standards with structural team.
- Participate on Structural Standards Committee, updating structural detail library and standards.
Specific Requirements include:
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related degree or combination of education and experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, with regards to structures, is required.
- 6+ years of experience with Revit.
- Understanding of typical structural details.
- Understanding of structural plans and nomenclature.
- Ability to start structural models and details with minimal supervision.
- Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions.
- Ability to balance several projects at once.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Building Structures preferred.
- Experience with Navisworks preferred.
- Revit or Autodesk Certification preferred.
