Position Overview
Teacher of Maths to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 children.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils in line with the National Curriculum.
- Use flexible teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs of pupils with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with the current Maths Teacher and other staff to support pupils’ academic progress.
- Contribute to the school’s ECT programme and support early career teachers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified teacher with a desire to work with SEN students.
- Experience working with children aged 9‑18 is preferred but not essential.
- Good employment references, health clearance and an enhanced DBS check (Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974) required.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Dependant on experience, up to UPS3 plus a SEN Allowance of £2,787.00 per annum.
- Full Time Contract.
