Position Overview

Teacher of Maths to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Use flexible teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs of pupils with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the current Maths Teacher and other staff to support pupils’ academic progress.
  • Contribute to the school’s ECT programme and support early career teachers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified teacher with a desire to work with SEN students.
  • Experience working with children aged 9‑18 is preferred but not essential.
  • Good employment references, health clearance and an enhanced DBS check (Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974) required.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: Dependant on experience, up to UPS3 plus a SEN Allowance of £2,787.00 per annum.
  • Full Time Contract.
  • Free on‑site parking, free lunches and use of on‑site gym.
