Farnell Farnell, an Avnet company, is a global high-service distributor of technology products, services and solutions for electronic system design, maintenance and repair.
Our team distribution team are currently recruiting a Shift Supervisor to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Our team have gone through a period of change therefore to support this we are looking for someone with experience in supporting, coaching and managing, our Production Operatives. Previous experience in working within a Distribution or Warehouse facility is essential along with being a people person and managing a team (large or small). Key in this role is the ability to build relationships and engaging with the team to ensure the best working environment whilst having fun along the way.
Our Supervisors are key in the management of activities such packing, shipping, receiving, order fulfilment, stock handling, storing, distribution and the inventory. We work to provide a high quality, cost effective, and efficient service to meet current and future demands of our customers within the electronics industry.
Our new team members will be able to learn quickly, our facility is new and with this comes teething problems, ad hoc queries regarding process and the system, so you need to be open to a challenge and supporting team members, whilst also part of the process of on-boarding new employees and managing the day to day employee relations activities within your area.
