Farnell, an Avnet company, is a global high-service distributor of technology products, services and solutions for electronic system design, maintenance and repair. Our team in Leeds is currently recruiting an Operations Quality Partner to join us at our distribution centre at Logic Industrial Park, Leeds 15. This is a permanent role, within a global organisation where customer focus is at the heart of what we do, a team that works hard and pulls together to achieve!
Our new team member will play a key part in developing, enhancing, and administering the quality standards across our facility. We are looking for a strong, results-driven individual who is able to influence change, take ownership, and ensure we adhere to international quality standards, regulatory requirements, internal audit requirements, and defined policies and procedures.
Skills And Experience Required- Proven experience in developing and maintaining Quality Management Systems and undertaking internal audits to ISO9001:2015 (AS/EN 9120:2018 desirable).
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Continual Improvement Techniques and Processes (Lean/Six Sigma desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of Power BI are desirable.
- Maintaining relationships with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and/or external certification/regulatory representatives.
- Managing and supporting the operational implementation of programs to establish and maintain quality standards of warehousing services and developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement.
- Developing policies, procedures, and methods to check operational quality and improve it.
- Support and implement the planning, facilitating and/or execution of internal, customer, supplier or external certification audits.
- Supporting the operation to ensure corrective actions to non-conformance and audit results are appropriately robust and are sustained by the operation to maintain KPIs and certifications.
- Overseeing the collection and data outputs obtained from internal quality audits and customer and supplier feedback.
- Supporting the decisions which may impact work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in serious delays and considerable expenditures of additional time, people and/or financial resources.
- Analysis of quality data, production of related metrics and KPIs, and identifying trends.
