We're looking for a warm, professional and intuitive Reception Host to join our friendly Front of House team at The Fish Hotel — one of Farncombe Estate's award-winning hotels, set within our beautiful hillside woodland above Broadway. The Fish is all about relaxed, feel-good luxury... where guests come to switch off, reconnect with nature and enjoy great food, fresh air and thoughtful hospitality.

As a Reception Host, you'll be one of the first faces guests meet, setting the tone for their stay with genuine warmth, confidence and care. From arrival to departure, you'll help ensure every experience feels effortless, personal and memorable.

What you'll be doing:

  • Welcoming and hosting guests from arrival to departure with warmth and professionalism
  • Checking guests in and out efficiently using our hotel systems
  • Anticipating guest needs and delivering thoughtful, personalised service
  • Sharing your knowledge of the Estate, The Fish experience and local area
  • Handling calls, emails and reservations accurately and professionally
  • Liaising closely with housekeeping, food & beverage and wider teams
  • Supporting with luggage, guest transport across the Estate, and hosting duties
  • Keeping the reception and guest areas welcoming, organised and well presented

The details:

  • £12.60 per hour (rising to £12.80 after one year)
  • Plus tips
  • Meals on duty and uniform provided
  • 40 hours per week across 5 days (including weekends)
