We’re on the lookout for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the team at Dormy House Hotel & Spa — part of Farncombe Estate and home to some of the Cotswolds’ most celebrated dining experiences. At Dormy, you’ll be working within a high-quality, professional kitchen environment, supporting a talented brigade delivering exceptional food across our restaurants. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a close-knit, supportive team while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the kitchen team with pot wash and general cleaning duties
  • Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised at all times
  • Assisting with basic food prep where required
  • Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
  • Supporting the smooth running of service during busy periods
  • Working closely with chefs and front-of-house teams

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
  • A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
  • Good attention to cleanliness and organisation
  • The ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential

The details:

  • £13.45 per hour
  • Plus service charge (£2,000–£2,500 per year, pro rata)
  • 28 hours per week over 4 days
  • Includes evenings and weekends
  • Meals on duty and uniform provided
