Love creating calm, tidy spaces and that fresh-linen feeling? We’re looking for dedicated Housekeepers to join our friendly and hard-working team at The Fish Hotel — one of Farncombe Estate’s award-winning hillside hideaways. Set across 500 acres of rolling Cotswold countryside, The Fish is all about laid-back luxury — from cosy shepherds huts and treehouses to stylish suites and woodland cabins. Each room has its own charm, and it’s our housekeeping team who make sure they all look their very best for our guests.
We currently have a couple of Permanent positions as below:
- 27.5 hours (10:00am–3:30pm, 5 days per week)
- 20 hours (10:00am - 3:00pm - 4 days per week)
- 20 hours (5:00am-9:00am - 5 days per week)
- 32 hours per week over 5 days
Please note: weekend work is part of the fun!
What you’ll be doing:
- Cleaning and presenting guest bedrooms to the highest standards
- Making sure our cabins, huts, and treehouses feel as fresh as they look
- Working efficiently and with pride as part of our brilliant team
- Supporting your colleagues and helping create a welcoming, positive atmosphere
What we’re looking for:
- A friendly, hardworking attitude and a great eye for detail
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
- Previous housekeeping experience is helpful, but not essential — full training will be given
- A driver’s licence would be handy (our accommodations are spread across the hillside!)

- £13.45 per hour, rising to £13.65 after one year
- Plus tips, meals on duty, and uniform provided
