We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the award-winning kitchen team at Dormy House Hotel & Spa, one of Farncombe Estate’s most celebrated luxury hotels in the Cotswolds. Dormy House is home to a busy, well-organised kitchen where quality, teamwork and consistency are at the heart of everything we do. As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, supporting the chefs and maintaining the high standards our guests expect. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into hospitality, or for those who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the kitchen team with pot wash and general cleaning duties
- Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised at all times
- Assisting with basic food preparation where required
- Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Supporting the smooth running of service during busy periods
The details:
- £13.45 per hour
- Share of gratuities
- 40 hours per week over 5 days
- Will include weekend working
- Meals on duty and uniform provided
