We’re looking for a dedicated and ambitious Commis Chef to join our award-winning team at Foxhill Manor — one of the Cotswolds’ most distinctive boutique luxury hotels. Foxhill Manor offers an intimate, refined dining experience with a strong focus on seasonal, ingredient-led cooking. As a Commis Chef, you’ll work as part of a close-knit, supportive brigade under the guidance of Michelin-starred Culinary Director Martin Burge, giving you the perfect environment to build confidence, refine your core skills and progress your career. You’ll be joining a calm, well-organised and well-equipped kitchen where quality, teamwork and consistency are at the heart of everything we do. What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting your section to deliver consistently high-quality dishes
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with mise en place and service
- Working closely with senior chefs to learn and develop
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Helping to keep service smooth, efficient and professional
- Contributing to stock control, prep and organisation

The details:
- £34,070 per year
- Plus service charge (£3,000–£3,500 OTE)
- Approximately £37,500 total earnings
- 48 hours per week
- Meals on duty and uniform provided
