We’re looking for an experienced, confident and people-focused Reception Manager to lead our Front of House team at The Fish Hotel — one of Farncombe Estate’s award-winning hotels, set within our beautiful hillside woodland above Broadway. The Fish is all about relaxed, feel-good luxury… where guests come to switch off, reconnect with nature and enjoy exceptional, thoughtful hospitality. As Reception Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping every guest journey — leading by example, developing your team and ensuring every stay feels personal, seamless and memorable.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of Reception and Front Office
- Setting and maintaining excellent service standards
- Ensuring a warm, personalised guest experience
- Managing arrivals, departures and special occasions
- Leading, training and developing your team
- Overseeing rotas, staffing and payroll information
- Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally
- Working closely with Housekeeping, F&B and senior leaders
- Ensuring accurate reservations, billing and administration
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and compliance
The details:
- £36,088 per annum
- 40 hours per week across 5 days (including weekends)
- Shifts include: Early: 07:00–15:30 Mid: 09:00–17:30 Late: 14:30–23:00
- Meals on duty and uniform provided
