We’re looking for an experienced, confident and people-focused Reception Manager to lead our Front of House team at The Fish Hotel — one of Farncombe Estate’s award-winning hotels, set within our beautiful hillside woodland above Broadway. The Fish is all about relaxed, feel-good luxury… where guests come to switch off, reconnect with nature and enjoy exceptional, thoughtful hospitality. As Reception Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping every guest journey — leading by example, developing your team and ensuring every stay feels personal, seamless and memorable.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of Reception and Front Office
  • Setting and maintaining excellent service standards
  • Ensuring a warm, personalised guest experience
  • Managing arrivals, departures and special occasions
  • Leading, training and developing your team
  • Overseeing rotas, staffing and payroll information
  • Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally
  • Working closely with Housekeeping, F&B and senior leaders
  • Ensuring accurate reservations, billing and administration
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation and compliance

The details:

  • £36,088 per annum
  • 40 hours per week across 5 days (including weekends)
  • Shifts include: Early: 07:00–15:30 Mid: 09:00–17:30 Late: 14:30–23:00
  • Meals on duty and uniform provided
