We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen team at The Fish Hotel — one of Farncombe Estate’s stunning hillside hideaways. Set within 500 acres of Cotswold countryside, The Fish is a laid-back luxury hotel with a big personality — home to 2 AA Rosette dining, our famous gourmet hot dogs, and seasonal menus packed with local flavour. Working alongside our talented chefs, you’ll learn from the best, develop your skills, and play your part in creating fresh, flavourful dishes that our guests love. You’ll be joining a calm, well-organised and well-equipped kitchen where quality, teamwork and consistency are at the heart of everything we do. What you’ll be doing:
- Running your section consistently and efficiently
- Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Assisting with prep, mise en place and stock control
- Supporting junior chefs and collaborating with the wider brigade
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Helping deliver a smooth and professional service
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen
- A reliable, professional and proactive approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A desire to learn and develop within a high-performing kitchen
- A positive attitude and pride in producing quality work
The details:
- £35,692.80 per year
- Plus service charge (approx. £38,500 OTE)
- 48 hours per week
- Meals on duty and uniform provided
- Live-in accommodation can be arranged
