We’re looking for an exceptional Deputy Food & Beverage Manager to support the leadership of our award‑winning restaurant team at Dormy House Hotel & Spa. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Dormy House is renowned for its relaxed luxury, outstanding food and genuine hospitality. Home to The Back Garden, our 3 AA Rosette restaurant, and MO, our intimate 4 AA Rosette Michelin Guide‑listed chef’s table experience, this is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s most celebrated destination hotels.
As Deputy Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our food and beverage offering. Supporting the wider F&B leadership team, you’ll lead from the floor, inspire your team and ensure every service is personal, memorable and delivered to the highest standards.
Permanent Position: 40 hours per week over 5 days. Please note: evening and weekend work is part of the role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the day‑to‑day management of our Food & Beverage operation
- Leading and motivating a passionate front‑of‑house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Being a visible presence during service, building rapport with guests and anticipating their needs
- Driving service standards that consistently exceed expectations
- Supporting the development, training and coaching of your team
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel teams to deliver seamless service
- Assisting with departmental performance, payroll and stock control
- Maximising revenue opportunities through excellent product knowledge and upselling
- Creating an atmosphere that reflects Dormy House’s reputation for laid‑back luxury and outstanding hospitality
What we’re looking for:
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a quality restaurant or hotel environment
- Fine dining experience is strongly preferred
- A natural leader with a passion for developing and inspiring people
- Excellent knowledge of food, wine and guest service
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant operations
- A hands‑on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
