Farnborough International is looking to strengthen its world-class team by recruiting a Business Development and Marketing Manager to support the Farnborough International Studios team within the Farnborough International venue team over a six-month period. The studios team is new, generating business from a standing start at the beginning of 2025 and has developed an increasing pipeline and database of contacts.
This role reports to the Studio Director and will work closely with the Senior Sales Manager and the Head of Venue Marketing and will focus on the continued growth of filming across the Farnborough campus including its two purpose-built sound stages and other facilities. Success in this role will be measured by increased market presence, regular FAM trips to site and a strong pipeline of viable productions looking to use the studios and wider Farnborough campus.
The Candidate
We are seeking a talented professional with a proven track record in business development, ideally within the film, TV, or creative sectors. You will have a deep understanding of the production lifecycle and today's industry landscape, paired with a strong combination of commercial insight and creative communication skills. Experience in strategy, brand management, and integrated marketing is essential, along with proficiency in CRM systems, marketing tools, and data analysis. We use Momentus, and full training will be provided. Most importantly, you will bring a genuine passion for film, television production, and the creative industries. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be a curious researcher and offer a keen eye for detail, with the ability to scrutinise opportunities as they arise.
The Contract
- Fixed Term Contract: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Salary: Dependent on experience
- Location: Hybrid working - Farnborough office 3 days a week, with the expectation to travel to events and to visit prospective clients
