We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to inspire FE & HE students in Sports and Exercise Science. This is a 0.8 FTE, Fixed‑Term Contract (Maternity Cover) with competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver HE BSc (Hons) Sports Science & Performance Therapy and subjects on the FE BTEC Sport Fitness and Personal Training & Sports Science Qualifications at Level 3.
- Support the delivery of the Level 3 and 4 VTCT Sports Therapy courses (adult learning).
- Administer program administration and liaise with awarding bodies.
- Participate in safeguarding and safeguarding training, ensuring compliance with DBS check requirements.
Qualifications
- Background in sports science, sports therapy and/or strength and conditioning.
- Sport Therapy Degree and industry experience.
- Teaching qualification and experience teaching 16‑19‑year‑olds (ideal).
- Assessor qualification is desirable.
- Eligibility for DBS checks and background screening.
