Applicants should be highly motivated and forward thinking with the ability to lead and manage the key curriculum areas within FE and HE Level Media.

This is a superb opportunity for someone who already has experience in a similar role or for someone looking to step up to the next level.

Applicants should be qualified to at least degree level in a relevant subject, hold an appropriate teaching qualification, and have a track record of leading a team of academic staff or the ability to do so.

  • The role will include 50% teaching, and applicants must have the ability to:
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in film production, directing, screen writing, film theory and production management.
  • Integrate practical and theoretical components to provide a well rounded learning experience.
  • Develop strong links with industry professionals and organisations to enhance work experience, project opportunities and gather pathways.
  • Maintain and update student and programme records.
