Excellent rates of pay and benefits. September start. Full time/Fixed term (31st July 2027). We are looking to recruit a full-time Technician with a Motor Vehicle qualification and experience of working in the industry, who is seeking a change in career, or applicants already working in Further Education and are keen to progress their career.

Working at our prestigious engineering facility, the Aerospace and Automotive Academy on the Farnborough Campus, the post is supporting apprentices and full-time students who are working towards their motor vehicle qualifications. Duties include:

  • Ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained, inspected, and records are kept
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Preparing materials and equipment for practical activities
  • Working within a team to support the teaching staff and students to achieve their training and assessments

Applicants will hold a recognised Motor Vehicle qualification, plus practical experience of working with Motor Vehicles. In addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential.
