Farnborough Airport is growing, and this is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to be part of a high performing team building Farnborough’s future infrastructure. The Project Manager will play a key role in Farnborough’s future, leading the planning and execution of strategically important projects within a live airport operational environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for the technical, safety and financial management of projects to ensure delivery aligns with overall business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a variety of projects, in both size and complexity, throughout design, procurement, construction, delivery, and handover to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Contribute to a world-class safety culture for projects and contractors, maximising health, safety and environmental performance.
  • Lead the identification and mitigation of risks that may adversely impact project delivery or adversely affect airport operations throughout the project/programme lifecycle.
  • Deliver projects within defined cost, programme, and quality requirements, leading the successful handover of assigned projects to the Operational Departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory obligations, including but not limited to, Building Regulations, CAA Regulations and CDM Regulations, all standards and code compliance, and required planning permissions.
  • Take an active role in developing role specific knowledge both within the aviation industry and the construction environment, engaging with knowledge sharing with the team and experienced stakeholders.
  • Manage and positively influence key project stakeholders (both internal).
