In this pivotal role, the Estates Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on Farnborough Airport’s infrastructure as well as carrying out reactive repair jobs and specialising in Electrical works. Unlike a traditional office building, the airport’s infrastructure must function around the clock to accommodate a constant flow of passengers and aircraft. This role includes keeping the airport’s infrastructure safe and compliant. By carefully maintaining this complex ecosystem, you will be directly contributing to the seamless operation of Farnborough Airport. This position is on a shift work basis, including being on-call on weekends and bank holidays. Occasionally, late shifts will be required which will be covered with overtime.
