We are looking for an Administrative Employee UK to support the Transport Manager and handle customer service matters.
About the role
The Administrative Employee is responsible for receiving, processing and monitoring customer orders throughout the entire transport process.
He or she maintains contact with customers, provides timely information about the progress of shipments and records all relevant data in the Transport Management System (TMS).
In addition, the Administrative Employee is responsible for the administrative handling of files, including support with invoicing, complaint registration and reporting.
Your responsibilities include
- Providing full administrative support.
- Receiving and processing customer orders.
- Completing and administratively managing transport files.
- Entering orders and rates into the Transport Management System (Ite Q/Trimble).
- Supporting and preparing files up to invoicing.
- Handling waiting time charges, surcharges and other additional costs in accordance with the agreed terms.
- Maintaining and strengthening customer relationships with the aim of achieving optimal cooperation.
- Ensuring correct and timely information provision to customers, shippers and internal departments.
- Handling incoming emails and telephone calls regarding customer enquiries.
- Registering, administratively handling and following up on complaints and cargo damage, including notification to the Insurance department.
