The predicted salary is between 28 - 14 £ per hour.
Due to increased project work, we are looking for a practical, reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist with an on-site installation of fixed infrastructure during a busy four-week period (potentially 5 weeks) in June and early July 2026.
This role would particularly suit:
- An agricultural student
- Agricultural engineering student
- Young farmers club member
- Someone practical looking for hands-on summer experience
Work is varied and likely to include:
- Assisting with assembly and installation of agricultural related infrastructure, primarily livestock housing/feeding equipment
- Working as part of a small team, usually 4 people including our instantiation manager
- Outdoor practical work, based on our customers' farm
- Basic engineering/fabrication support
- Loading, moving and organising materials
- Other hands-on duties as required
- The site is clean, level and outdoors
- Approx. 40-50 hours per week
- Usually 6 days per week, weather dependent
- Training will be provided
- Accommodation will be provided
The position is practical rather than office-based and would suit somebody who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a small team. We really value individuals with a good work ethic and believe that attitude is the biggest plus, more important than existing product knowledge.
