Larkrise Community Farm are looking for people with experience working with children and/or adults with SEND and/or SEMH needs to join our brilliant team. This is a highly rewarding role in a caring environment, surrounded by animals, nature and the outdoors. If you care about people and nature, and enjoy making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
The role involves supporting small groups of adults and young people with additional needs to engage in meaningful farm-based activities including animal care and welfare. Initially, this is a part time, irregular role to help us during periods of staff holidays. There is the potential for some regularity to develop in the future.
Requirements:
- Experience working alongside people with additional needs and the ability to tailor your support depending on people’s needs
- Equine/animal knowledge or experience working on a farm or other outdoor environment
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- Ability to work within a team
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping others
