About the role - in Sunnyside's words:
We are looking for a full-time Community Gardener to join us and work with volunteers at Sunnyside Community Gardens. You will be responsible for running our plant nursery and strengthening our links within our immediate neighbourhood of Hillrise. This new role will play a key part in delivering our “Sunnyside is your garden” project part-funded by the National Lottery - Reaching Communities Fund for five years. You will enable us to work with more volunteers, engage more with our local community in Hillrise and support our gardens to flourish.
This is a role for someone who is highly organised, with great interpersonal skills. You will have both horticultural experience and experience in working with people with additional support needs. You will have a passion for producing plants and connecting with people.
