Retail Supervisor – Part Time

Responsibilities
- Part of the management team supporting the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
- Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the team of retail assistants.
- Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- A people person who easily builds strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, being an important part of a small team.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable but not mandatory.
- Completion of an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if successful.
